What if you only had one day at Magic Kingdom?
What would be on your list of must-dos? Is it all food items? Maybe you hit up your favorite shops? Maybe you have your must-do rides?
Here are my top 5 things I would make sure I did at Magic Kingdom if I only had one day at the park:
1. I know everyone is different, but I feel like this one is on a lot of people's lists of things to do at the park - Get a picture with the castle in the background. My favorite spot all depends on the time of year. When the parks are decorated with fall decorations, we love getting a Photo Pass picture at Circle Plaza with the decorations and the castle in the background. The picture below is the one with me and my husband in it, but at any other time of year, my favorite spot is right next to Walt and Mickey's statue. It can be less crowded at times, and you can get some good Photo Pass pictures as well as selfies. Do you have a favorite photo spot? Maybe the purple wall? Comment below.
2. Next on my list is Peter Pan's Flight - this is by far my favorite Disney movie and my favorite ride at Disney. I get all teary-eyed whenever I ride this, and shout out to the amazing Cast Member from our last trip, I wish I got your name. It was Boo Bash night, so she got behind us in line to let the ride operator know that from this point on it was Boo Bash people only, but she showed us all the little tips and "hidden" treasures through the new interactive line, as well as letting us ride it two times in a row. I was beyond happy, she made an already magical evening that much better. Do you have your go-to ride at Magic Kingdom? Comment Below.
3. In connection with my previous one, the next thing I would do is get a Peter Pan Float from Storybook Treats. If you've never had one - I strongly recommend it. It's Lime Dole Whip with Sprite and a red chocolate feather out of the top. It's so amazing, but let's be honest, anything with Dole Whip is amazing, right? Do you have a go-to snack from Magic Kingdom? Comment below.
4. Another must-do ride for me is the People Mover. I love this ride so much that when we were planning our next trip to Disney and I found out this was down for refurbishment I purposely postponed the trip. A little dramatic? Maybe, but this is seriously a family favorite for me. By far the best place to relax and cool down. Yes, the ride is still outside, but it goes fast enough where you get a little breeze and when you go into the buildings you can feel the air conditioning from the building, plus your in your own little section and even though there may be a group in front and behind you, it still feels very private and the views at night are amazing. Do you have another go-to ride or spot for a little unwinding?
5. The last big thing I must do whenever I visit the Magic Kingdom is goodbye. Whether that be with the fireworks, or standing at Main Street USA and just taking in the views of the castle. I always cry too because it really is such a magical place and so hard to say goodbye, but I make sure I get in a last "See Ya Real Soon". Do you ever have those goodbye moments?
